A warm and friendly welcome is assured at Tregerrick Farm,
which is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, not far from The
Lost Gardens of Heligan, at the head of the Portmellon Valley. Here you can
enjoy magnificent views over ancient pastureland and a wooded valley leading to
the sea.
Although the farmhouse is easily accessible it cannot be seen
from any roads. The sound of rustling leaves and birdsong coming from the
lovingly tended mature garden provides an atmosphere of relaxation and
tranquillity.
All the suites are very comfortably furnished and contain
colour TVs, beverage trays, hairdryers, electric shaver points, heated towel
rails, central heating, soaps, shampoos and soft towels. A very generous supply
of hot water is always available for the baths and power showers. Duvets cover
the beds but alternative sheets and blankets are available if you prefer them.

Mevagissey is still a working fishing village and its life is
centred around the harbour. There is a host of shops, cafes, galleries, pubs
and restaurants crammed into its narrow streets. Nearby are the Lost Gardens of
Heligan - open all year - and Caerhays Castle and Garden - open mid-February to
the end of May. Within a short drive, the Roseland Peninsula offers a lovely
coastline with many small coves and beaches to delight the
holidaymaker.
From Greystones, its just a 5-minute walk down to Portmellon
Cove with its sandy beach, overlooked by the local pub which serves good food,

Close to the sandy beach and coast path at Gorran Haven,
Harbours Reach is a newly refurbished guest house and Coffee Shop.
We are approximately 150 yards from the sea in this very pretty
Cornish village with its wonderful beaches for families. There is easy access
to lots of country and coastal walking.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the fishing village of
Mevagissey are a short drive, whilst the tranquil and beautiful Roseland
Peninsula is literally on our doorstep! Further afield, the Eden Project,
Fowey, Lanhydrock House provide a variety of attractions to visit.

Pentewan village is ideally situated for people walking the
coastal footpath, visiting Cornish Gardens, National Trust Estates, the Eden
Project, or taking part in one of the many sailing championships that our local
sailing club organise and host, for families who need both sunny and cloudy day
activities.
The Cove is a friendly family business run by Gill and Alison
Avery. All the rooms have a colour television, plus tea & coffee making
facilities. The Cove is right on the Village Square and only 2 minutes walk to
Pentewan's large, clean and, above all, safe beach, passing the Old Harbour
along the way. The back half of Cove is over 300 years old and the relatively
modern front is 175 years old ( we did say relatively modern). The village
itself dates back to 1000 BC to 800 BC and for those interested in history
there is much to read about the village.
The Cove has a cafe and the village can offer you a restaurant,
a gift and beach shop, a water sport shop, a post office, a pub, petrol station
and a Cycle Hire shop. The Cornish Way, an off-road cycle route and footpath
links the village to Heligan, Mevagissey, St Austell, the Eden Project on the
Cornish Riviera |
