Pentewan village is ideally situated for people walking the coastal footpath, visiting Cornish Gardens, National Trust Estates, the Eden Project, or taking part in one of the many sailing championships that our local sailing club organise and host, for families who need both sunny and cloudy day activities.

The Cove is a friendly family business run by Gill and Alison Avery. All the rooms have a colour television, plus tea & coffee making facilities. The Cove is right on the Village Square and only 2 minutes walk to Pentewan's large, clean and, above all, safe beach, passing the Old Harbour along the way. The back half of Cove is over 300 years old and the relatively modern front is 175 years old ( we did say relatively modern). The village itself dates back to 1000 BC to 800 BC and for those interested in history there is much to read about the village.

The Cove has a cafe and the village can offer you a restaurant, a gift and beach shop, a water sport shop, a post office, a pub, petrol station and a Cycle Hire shop. The Cornish Way, an off-road cycle route and footpath links the village to Heligan, Mevagissey, St Austell, the Eden Project on the Cornish Riviera
