Cornish Riviera Title

Welcome to Bulb Mania ! @ The Eden Project

Eden will be awash with successive waves of colour; daffodils flowering in March, tulips in April and the lilies in May. Probably Britain’s biggest annually-planted show of spring flowers! Vast outdoor displays, accompanied by a huge colour-graded bed of tulips in the Warm Temperate Biome. Plus a connoisseur's collection of species such as Mediterranean Cyclamen and Scilla and South African Lachenalia and Babiana. Another showpiece will be a river of grape hyacinths sweeping across the roof of the Link between the Biomes and stunning displays in the Visitor Centre and along the Grand Staircase leading to the arena.

There’s a rich history of daffodil-growing in Cornwall . Cornwall is home to a diversity of long-established varieties such as Tete-a-tete, Carlton, Rosemoor Gold and the project’s very own Eden Gold. Bulb Mania 2007 is sure to be even better than previous years – with more than three times the number of bulbs that were planted in the first year. If you’ve never seen Eden during Bulb Mania, you’re in for a treat!

And there's more ! Special Offer For the future, the Eden Project has set itself the target of 10% of is visitors arriving by some other form of transport than the motor car. To encourage cyclists, arrive at Eden on a bike and you get a reduction off the normal Adult entry at the Fast Track entrance. So, if you're cycling to Eden, don't buy a ticket in advance, just lock your bike in one of the bike racks, go straight to the Fast-Track entrance !

The same offer is open to walkers, although, if you are able to walk to Eden, it helps to have a note from the place that you are staying at near to Eden !
