Fowey River Expeditions has a selection of activities which will make the most of the superb countryside and Fowey estuary

Fowey River Trails

Fowey River Expeditions offer you two days of weekend walking on both banks of the beautiful Fowey river from Lostwithiel to Fowey with an expert local guide.

The coach leaves Fowey on Saturday and Sunday at 10am for Lostwithiel. On Saturday, the party walks back to Fowey - about 7 miles, with a break for lunch at the Fisherman's Arms, Golant

On Sunday, the walk is through St Winnow to Lerryn for lunch, possibly in the Ship Inn, and later walk on to Bodinnick - 9 miles - or Polruan - 12miles.

Join the coach at the Central Car Park in Fowey, off Hanson Drive, with suitable clothing, footwear and refreshments.

Prior booking is essential - the cost is £10.00 for both days, £6.00 for just one day. This includes the coach journey.

Accommodation can be arranged in Fowey - from camping to 4-star hotels - by St Austell Tourist Information Centre

Fowey Motorboat Nature Treks

Our motorboat trips travel together to Lerryn - high tide trips - or Golant - low tide trips. At Lerryn, we have a short walk through the woods to see the flowers and birds before our break for refreshments. At Golant, after a break, we fish for sand eels whilst we await the tide.
