We're busy contacting some great local chefs to show you some exciting ways to use the great local produce available at our market.
In the past, we 've been pleased to taste dishes from :
Urai Wilkins from Lanna Thai deli & takeway, St Austell
Steve Boyle
Paul McKenna from Fistral Blu, Newquay
We're looking forward to welcoming them back in 2010 and are also arranging for chefs from:
The White Hart, St Austell
Wreckers Restaurant and
The Gurkha, Nepalese Restaurant
to join in the fun !

We've recently heard from a local trader dealing in gorgeous, fresh, wet fish! They'll be with us from 23rd January - Fresh fish in St Austell! That'll be great!
And we've also just heard from another local person who'll be selling fresh wild game. So they'll be coming along to the Market on 23rd January as well !
2nd January 2010
St Austell Produce Market was first set up in October 2009 with support from St Austell Town Council and St Austell Market House CIC for a pilot project period of 8 weeks, leading up to Christmas 2009.
As the initial pilot was so successful, additional funding has enabled the market to continue a further, 12-week, period from Saturday, 16th January 2010 to Saturday, 3rd April 2010.
Come along and support our Market for the town!
