Situated on the outskirts of St Austell, our attractive bungalow, of ample proportions, is south facing and overlooking open countryside.

Location

We are ideally situated with the town centre, coach and rail stations all within a 20-minute walk. A courtesy collection service is offered from the rail and coach stations.

The coast is just one mile away, where you will find the charming port of Charlestown, a selection of local beaches and coves, plus superb golf courses

St Austell is very central for touring, with the coastal towns of Mevagissey, Fowey, Looe, Polperro and Newquay all within a short drive.

Scenic Walks

The area also provides many scenic walks. cycle tracks and the Cornish Way Cycle Trail is close-by. Lots of renown gardens including The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the world famous Eden Project are just 10/15 minutes drive away, and there are several National Trust properties and gardens including Lanhydrock and Trelissick within close proximity

Our double glazed and centrally heated accommodation offers you a choice of two spacious rooms. A Double en suite room or a Family room containing a double and single bed with your own private bathroom adjacent to your room. The Family room may be used as a Double or a Twin, if required.

Both rooms are equipped to cater for every guest’s needs, with colour television, hospitality trays and hair dryers. Complimentary use of alarm clocks, shaver adapters and ironing facilities is available

All rooms are non-smoking.

Breakfast is taken in the dining room where you will enjoy lovely country views. A varied menu is on offer to cater for all diets. This room also contains easy chairs, a colour television, plenty of visitor information and literature for our guests’ use.

To the rear of the property you will find plenty of parking space and an attractive garden with garden furniture where you are welcome to relax.

Pedal Back the Years offers a chance for those who have not cycled for a long time to regain confidence on a bicycle. Arts and Theatre in Cornwall

Sterts Theatre was founded as an arts and educational centre in 1982. Located on the fringes of Bodmin Moor, Sterts has developed a reputation for artistic and creative excellence. The spectacular open air canopy-covered amphitheatre is set in 11 acres of grounds, with plenty of space for summer evening picnics before enjoying fantastic live theatre and music.

Sport and Sailing

Madison Yachts – Charter a Yacht Madison offers tailor-made cruises to suit individual needs from novice first timers to the experienced sailor. With flexible and roomy accommodation, en-suite to all cabins, this boat is an experience not to miss.

Cornwall Croquet Club has two courts at Porthpean Golf Club next to the Driving Range. The Club has its own small pavilion next to the courts and use of the licensed golf clubhouse, shop and bar drinks & meals.

Visitors and new members always made welcome – Club afternoons are Wed and Sat from 2pm. All you need are flat soled shoes – no special dress requirements, just dress comfortably, all equipment supplied by the club.
